Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We absolutely loved this spot! The place looked incredibly busy when we first walked in, and I thought for sure we wouldn't get a table, but I decided to ask the staff anyway. To my surprise, they were super accommodating and managed to seat us quickly! That service was truly impressive! I ordered the pork dish, and it was fantastic—so tender and flavorful. I was so excited to eat that I completely forgot to take a picture before finishing it (apologies for the empty plate in the photo! ). Great food and a wonderful team. Highly recommend making a stop here!"
"We loved sitting at the bar for a few drinks and delicious tapas - possibly some of the best in town in terms of quality/price ratio! Lucas is a very attentive and friendly bartender."
"We LOVED Casa Rubio so much that we could not wait to post this review partway into our anniversary trip through Spain. So far it has been our favorite restaurant in this beautiful country, and they have set a really high bar to beat! The waitstaff were highly attentive and professional. We were able to enjoy our meal without being rushed, yet the staff was always quickly available whenever we wanted to order more or had other requests - like for bread to accompany the spectacular cod dish! The top-notch food and service combined made this an incredible experience for us. We would not hesitate to return."
"It's a nice restaurant with many local dishes. Service was great and quick. We sat outside. The staff was very friendly and they gave tips about local dishes. We ordered creamy cold tomato tapas and russian salad as starter. And as the main dish, we had oxtail. Everything was delicious but not perfect. That's why I gave 4 stars."
"Superb! It hasn't been destroyed by tourists and still caters to real people. The food is traditional with some sophisticated additions. All the dishes were of the highest quality, well presented and delicious. The service was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Great value for money! It is located in the Jewish quarter in an old building which is a bit of a labyrinth of rooms and tables with different ambiences and lots of artwork on the walls. We will definitely be visiting again when we return to Córdoba!!!"
"Great restaurant with very kind stuff. You should try the pork fillet and the flamenquin"
"Lovely decoration and warm vibe inside the restaurant. The food was excellent. It’s too late that we visited the night before we left Cordoba. Otherwise, we would visit one more time. We had cold tomato soup, fried eggplant, oxtail stew, ibérico pluma and cheese cake. Love it!"
"This was an amazing restaurant that offers very good quality and good customer service. It's a little bit off to the side which makes it for me a bit more enjoyable. I had the gazpacho, several other tapas, olives, homemade bread, the beef meatballs, the lightly battered calamari. All were delicious. This was the best meal we had during this trip in Spain."
